Claire was born on 22nd August 1975. The first photos here were taken about a week before she was born in the grounds of Ashway Gap House at the foot of Saddleworth Moor. (At one point, Normas two brothers Ken and Norman and I won the house at tender. We were going to turn it into an upmarket Country Club but that's another story!)
The last two photos show Norma arriving home on 27th August at 12 Clayton St with Claire and the proud parents at feeding time! You can see our Truimph 2000 outside the window - green with black roof!
